Summer Rosé-gria

Updated: Oct 3, 2020

I recently came across this super easy recipe on Pinterest and decided to try it out to see if I should add it to my go-to list of summer cocktails. It's a strawberry-mint sangria and it's light, refreshing and super easy to make.

As someone who loves to host family and friends, I am always looking for cocktails that I can make in a pitcher vs. by the glass. Sangria is the perfect solution because the longer it sits and the longer the flavors meld together, the better! So this, make ahead sangria is a great one to add to the list for those host summer days.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 Lemon

  • 2/3 cup Mint, leaves

  • 2 1/2 cups Strawberries

  • 1/2 cup Club soda

  • 2 bottles Rosé (I used MVY Rosé)

  • 3 tbsp Sugar

To make the sangria:

  1. Grab a 2 quart pitcher or larger

  2. Drop in your strawberries

  3. Add in the mint

  4. Pour in the sugar

  5. Squeeze your lemon to get all the juice (avoid the seeds)

  6. Pour in the club soda

  7. Add in your lemon slices

  8. Add some ice if you need to serve it right away; skip the ice if you're preparing in advance

And that's it! Stir, pour and serve!

Drink responsibly 😉

XO,

Ayanna
