Zoom-Fashion - Fall Zara Haul

While I've tried to resist, I've surrendered to the fact that zoom calls are going to be a way of life for the foreseeable future. And while I like my current wardrobe, I realized that I didn't have enough tops that were exciting enough to stand on their own. I needed some more pizzazz so that my tops articulated my sense of fashion all by themselves. So, I set out to go to one of my favorite retailers, Zara and I grabbed a few tops that would help me to improve my zoom/ video-conference wardrobe.

As part of my search I was looking for tops that had one or ALL of these elements:

Texture: knits, organza, satin etc, are all fabrics that grab the eye. These are typically seen in ball gowns (organza and satin) but a small touch of these can really show your fashion sense when on a video call. They provide a great sense of interest beyond the standard cotton and polyester fabrics.
Color: most of the time when I am on a zoom call, because my name starts with an A, I am usually on the first page of squares... So, my goal was not to select colors that were too bold, rather ones that would complement my complexion and be relevant for the fall and winter season.
Necklines: I wanted to pick difference neck-lines. V-neck, square-neck, etc. These also create opportunities for different styles of accessories that can be added to level-up your #zoomfashion and #zoomattire
